Description
The Procurement & Technical Development Coordinator is responsible for sourcing strategic procurement initiatives that leverage buying power, drive cost savings, and improve supplier performance for American Campus Communities (ACC). The Procurement & Technical Development Coordinator will provide strategic purchasing solutions on IT equipment, services and contracts at the highest level of quality and the best cost.
Job Responsibilities: (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
* Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers for sourcing, testing, and procuring company hardware and software.
* Responsible for managing IT purchasing documentation for asset tracking purposes and ensuring compliance with established policies is followed.
* Coordinate with the procurement supervisor to procure necessary IT equipment for new developments ensuring timely delivery.
* Responsible for facilitating, managing, and tracking all acquisition and disposition IT equipment needs.
* Responsible for inventory management, ordering, stocking, and distributing IT equipment as required including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
* Responsible for ordering and managing software licenses.
* Assess vendor performance and product quality to ensure alignment with expectations and overall budget.
* Generate reports to include, but not limited to: Financial Reports, Inventory Reports, Purchasing Reports, etc. on procurement activities and analyze data for strategic decision making.
* Facilitate purchase requests by identifying appropriate vendors, preparation and issuance of purchase orders, and on-time delivery of goods or services.
* Collaborate with IT department personnel for company equipment standards and requirements.
* Utilize request platform to manage the IT hardware and software requests in a timely manner.
* Ensure timely generation and submission of expense reports for vendor invoicing.
* Collaborate with management to ensure annual IT procurement expenditures do not exceed budgeted allocations.
* Responsible for sourcing new procurement opportunities and collaboration with all stakeholders on cost saving methods and efficient procurement processes and procedures.
* Maintain various vendor dashboards for order processing, report generation, asset tracking, addition and removal of employee subscriptions/licenses.
* Management of IT equipment recycling for both corporate and property to ensure data and privacy policies are adhered to.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* 2 - 4 years of experience in procurement with a focus on technical service and IT equipment preferred.
* Proficiencies in Adobe, Excel, Service Now, Nexus, MS Office/TEAMS, Zoom, Concur and other job-related software and license platforms are preferred.
* Experience in creative issue resolution and problem solving.
