We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer with proven experience in MEP and Civil works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project timelines and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine procurement needs.
• Identify reliable suppliers and subcontractors for MEP and Civil materials and services.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors in coordination with the Procurement Manager.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Track delivery schedules and follow up on orders to meet project timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and site teams to align procurement with project requirements.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists.
• Ensure all procured items comply with required standards, specifications, and quality.
• Manage procurement documentation, including contracts, delivery notes, and invoices.
• Contribute to cost control initiatives and value engineering processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement, specifically in MEP and Civil works.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, systems, and vendor networks.
• Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of local and international market suppliers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience working on high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Membership in a professional engineering or procurement body is a plus.
