Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Process Technician specializing in Plastic Injection Molding to join our team. The ideal candidate will optimize processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the efficient operation of our injection molding machinery. This role is crucial in maintaining product quality and production efficiency while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize injection molding processes for efficiency and quality.
- Set up and validate molds for production runs.
- Program and troubleshoot IMM robots and robotic systems.
- Conduct FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Perform hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting on injection molding machines.
- Utilize RJG and KISTLER systems for process monitoring and optimization.
- Implement continuous improvement practices through RCA and CI methodologies.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to process parameters and optimization efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Plastic Injection Molding processes and technologies.
- Able to work a 12hr shift on 2/2/3 rotation.
- Strong skills in process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience with IMM robots and robotic programming.
- Familiarity with RJG and KISTLER technologies.
- Knowledge of mold set-up and validation procedures.
- Experience with programming tools for injection molding machinery.
- Understanding of FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ processes and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
