Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associate to join a premier private equity team focused on software growth and industrial investments. Based in Munich, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on transformative deals in fast-evolving sectors. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant experience and a strong background in investment analysis, with fluency in German and English.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct in-depth market research and identify investment opportunities within the software growth and industrial sectors.
  • Develop detailed financial models and perform valuations to assess potential investments.
  • Lead due diligence efforts, evaluating operational, financial, and market aspects of target companies.
  • Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and supporting documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the execution of deals, including structuring and negotiation of transactions.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies to develop and implement value creation strategies, driving growth and operational improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovation within the software and industrial investment landscape.


Key Criteria / Competencies:


Essential Experience and Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or relevant roles with exposure to software growth or industrial sectors.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Strong academic background with a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory; additional European languages are a plus.
