Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Print Cutting Operator to join our dynamic large format print facility. As an Operator, you will play a critical role in fabricating and producing high-quality large format print products on our state of the art digitial Zund Cutting machines . This role requires a strong background in materials handling and quality control, with a focus on ensuring precision and accuracy in every step of the process while meeting tight deadlines. Duties - Operate and maintain Zund cutting machines to fabricate and print products to specifications. - Conduct quality control inspections and ensure products meet our standards. - Utilize Caldera PrimeCenter and other software to execute print & cut files. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including basic machine maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols and best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment malfunction or product quality. - Communicate effectively with print production and prepress team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations. - Comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements within the print facility. Requirements - Proven experience working in large format printing facility, with a focus on operating a Zund digital cutting machine, or similar digital cutting machine. - Proficiency with print cut software, preferably Caldera Prime Center. - Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as needed. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precision and accuracy. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
