Summary

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The Print Operator produces printed labels by setting up, operating, calibrating, following print job specifications, and maintaining the printing equipment to ensure efficient operation and functioning. The Print Operator inspects and manages the printing machine(s) to guarantee the production of high-quality products that meet customer needs. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures quality and consistency in printing processes by assessing, modifying, and/or calibrating equipment Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, data or products Reviews assigned project to understand client requirements and parameter of print job Monitors and inspects print product to evaluate quality of printings Maintains inventory of supplies at workstation needed to operate printing machines and satisfy customer print order specifications Support high level productivity standards by following established operating policies, utilizing time efficiently, and providing team member support when needed Monitor job management system for assigned projects Effectively manage time and prioritize projects to ensure labels are printed on time Follow packaging and shipping processes by scanning labels and updating electronic files Effectively communicate with production department to relay client specifications for project order completion MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year printing/label experience KEY COMPETENCIES Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software Ability to follow instructions Excellent organizational skills and pays strict attention to detail
