Role Overview

  • We're seeking Principal Engineer to lead our skilled engineering teams, responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions. This role involves:
  • - Collaborating closely with engineering teams to devise and implement the best technical designs, strategies, and execution plans.
  • - Ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects, meeting key milestones
  • - Taking complete ownership of your assigned platform domain, focusing on engineering excellence in terms of quality, security, availability, scalability, and other critical factors while dirving solution, architecture
  • - Working in tandem with other Architects and Software Engineers to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
  • - Proactively monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and addressing roadblocks. Responsible to unblock on architectural, solution decisions and socialise
  • - Establishing and advocating best practices in software development, including documentation and testing.
  • - Engaging hands-on in technical aspects and in-depth problem solving. This includes working and guiding team during incidents as well and taking the lead
  • - Facilitating cross-functional collaboration with non-technical stakeholders, such as Product Managers and Designers.
  • - Mentoring a talented team of engineers, fostering skill development and career growth.
  • - Support ramp-up of members in team through hiring, knowledge sharing, mentoring, reviews of work, knowledge transfer
  • - Coordinating with partners to align and integrate contractors for optimal delivery outcomes with technical enablement

Required Qualifications

  • - Degree/Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • - Over 14 years of hands-on engineering experience.
  • - Proven expertise in designing and developing scalable, high-availability cloud-based web applications.
  • - In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and the full SDLC.
  • - Strong leadership skills with a track record of support technically and mentor high-performing teams.
  • - Experience in driving solution and implementation, collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • - Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • - Adaptability to startup dynamics – fast-paced and goal-oriented.
  • - Background in product-based or hyper-growth environments.
  • - Proficiency in MicroServices development.
  • - Experience with Agile practices, CI/CD, and Test-Driven Development.
  • - Ability to lead diverse and remote teams.
  • - Hands-on experience in one or more - backend technologies (Java-Spring Boot, GoLang, Node.JS), databases (structured and non-structured), frontend development (JavaScript, React, Redux).
  • - Knowledge of Telco Business Support Systems (BSS/OSS) and UX design principles is a plus.
