Key Responsibilities

• Design & Drafting: Develop detailed fire protection and plumbing system designs, covering utility plumbing, water treatment systems, and steam distribution networks, ensuring compliance with NFPA and other relevant standards.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate BOQs, cost estimates, and technical proposals for competitive project bids.
• Technical Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to evaluate pricing and technical specifications, ensuring seamless integration of all system components.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs and installations meet local and international codes, including NFPA fire safety standards and relevant plumbing regulations.
• Project Support: Provide technical expertise during the tendering process and assist project execution teams to ensure successful implementation.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in designing and estimating fire protection and plumbing systems, including utility plumbing, water treatment, and steam distribution networks.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and relevant local & international regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to develop efficient and compliant solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
