Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking a Principal Hardware Engineering Program Manager to join their team. As a Principal Hardware Engineering Program Manager, you will be supporting various engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Principal Hardware Engineering Program Manager
Location: Remote (PST hours)
Duration: 18 month contract
Pay Rate: $60-$62/hour
What's the Job?
- Drive strategic engineering programs by defining scope, goals, and success metrics while managing schedules and tracking progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to execute projects, align priorities, and facilitate communication.
- Standardize workflows and best practices while driving process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage program budget management processes including forecast and actual spend tracking.
- Prepare and present program status reports, including insights on risks and opportunities.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale programs across engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
- PMP certification and relevant process certifications (Six Sigma, Lean) are preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong data analysis skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, business-relevant insights.
