Job Description The Principal Events Manager at ATPCO is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of company events, both internal and external. This includes supporting third-party industry events, customer conferences, such as ATPCO's flagship event, Elevate, and internal functions, ensuring a seamless experience that aligns with ATPCO's brand and strategic goals. The role requires strong organizational skills, creative thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and events at once, while maintaining a focus on delivering to budget. The role also requires a strong project management skill set, and the ability to manage and run events from both a larger event scope, right down to the finer details. Duties & Responsibilities * Shape the overall event strategy, aligning it with ATPCO's business goals and driving innovation in event planning and execution. * Lead the design and execution of complex, large-scale events, ensuring alignment with ATPCO's brand and marketing strategy. * Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on event initiatives, providing insight and recommendations to enhance customer engagement and industry presence. * Cultivate relationships with senior-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives, sponsors, and high-profile partners, ensuring successful collaborations. * Oversee large budgets and ensure alignment with organizational goals, providing financial oversight and ROI measurement for all events. * Lead end-to-end agile project management for high-impact ATPCO events, overseeing cross-functional teams, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment at a strategic level, while running and managing the day-to-day logistical components of said events. * Develop and implement high-level event metrics and reporting frameworks, providing insights that inform future strategy and execution. * Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and creative event solutions, ensuring ATPCO remains a leader in the industry event space. * Lead, mentor, and develop the events team, fostering talent and driving a culture of excellence in event management. Required Qualifications: * Minimum 10 years of experience in event management with a proven track record of delivering complex events from concept to execution. * CMP certification * Strong agile project management skills, including planning, budgeting, vendor negotiation, and risk management. * Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. * Experience with large-scale or high-profile events, both virtual and in-person. * Proficiency in project management and event software tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Cvent, or equivalent). * Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. * PMP or Agile-related Project Management certification such as CSM, ACSM, CPSM, CAL, or CAF.
