An excellent opportunity for a Senior Controls / Building Management System (BMS) Engineer to play a key part in in the growth of an expanding International, Engineering and Design Consultancy focusing on Data Centre projects.

Location: Berlin, Dusseldorf or Frankfurt

Salary: €70,000 - 85,000

Job Description:

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy to assist with expanding their Data Centre team across Germany. You will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced Building Management Systems in our data centre projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, energy efficiency, and reliability of our clients' data centre operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of BMS design specifications and plans for data centre projects.
• Supervise the installation, configuration, and integration of BMS components, including HVAC, power systems, lighting, and security systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations and manage quality assurance processes.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Analyse BMS data to identify trends and opportunities for improving energy efficiency and system performance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and project progress.

Experience:

• A Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Ideally 5+ years relevant work experience
• Proficiency in BMS software
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and control systems
• Knowledge of German laws and regulations
• Proficiency in German and/or English
