该职位来源于猎聘 Job overview: The Pricing Manager plays a key role in supporting Valvoline’s revenue growth strategy. This role will seek to improve value captured from new and existing customers, to elevate the success of the sales force through better pricing presentation, and to maintain pricing integrity and consistency. Closely works with BU leader/ Supply Chain/ Technical and PMO team to develop and implement pricing strategy support for sustainable business growth. Work scope include building systematic pricing info structure, analysis of competitor price in different regions/channels, design Valvoline products value chain and drive execution. Responsibilities:
Manages and directs analysis to provide lagging KPIs for pricing initiatives, compile reports/dashboards and distribute to stakeholders across the organization. Builds and maintains price database to support pricing/cost analysis and activation. Database scope will cover IAM/OEM/O2O/SHVC with product costing, value chain and external competitor price info. Oversees the effectiveness of customer and segment pricing through internal and primary market research, competitive pricing research, deal analysis and a variety of other research methods.
Drives projects related to price points and tier differentiation for new and current products, customer segments to target, feature prioritization, and deal level guidance. Develops and implements company pricing strategy and price models to maximize business growth opportunities and minimize cross channel conflicts. Develop deep expertise in how customers perceive and derive value from the product, what are the common use cases and how they perceive the product with respect to the competition, and price elasticity.
Identifies opportunities for new pricing, packaging, and bundling strategies that will contribute to Valvoline’s strategic goals. Optimizes pricing decision and implementation process and drive implementation. Performs quantitative analysis of deal data and customer usage data and translate into problem solutions or improvement opportunities.
Initiates cross function price meeting and lead pricing activities to regular review pricing strategy and create improvement plan. Work closely with product management, finance, and sales to create or modify price sheets for segments and customers as necessary. Be involved in the process of aligning the annual operating plan.
Coach, manage and support team members in the development of skill sets and provide opportunities to upskill and be visible to local and regional leadership team. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or relevant areas; MBA Preferred. -8+ years of professional experience in pricing or with business intelligence, economic data, financial data analytics or related field. -5+ years pricing experience required. -Experience in auto aftermarket or consumer goods industry preferred.
