About the role:

A large QLD state government department is seeking 1 x Power Platform Technical Specialist and 1 x Functional Specialist.

Technical Specialist:

This person will design, build and maintain scalable, secure and integrated software solutions that address complex business challenges. They combine strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of enterprise environments.

• Proven experience in building solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse
• Proven experiencing building solutions using Azure, .Net, C#, React and TypeScript
• Experience with complete application lifecycle management for enterprise solutions, including CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Apply best practice in software design, security and maintainability
• Contribute to solution architecture and provide technical guidance to the team
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Ability to facilitate business problems/ needs into an appropriate solution/ way forward
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
• Familiarity with enterprise integration and governance patterns
• Experience working in government or large-scale enterprise environments (preferred)
• Dynamics 365 experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with Bicep, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code (preferred)

Functional Specialist:

This role will focus on understanding business needs and translating them into scalable, user-friendly solutions which best align with the native capabilities of the Power Platform.

• Proven experience in building solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Ability to facilitate business problems / needs into an appropriate solution / way forward
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Familiarity with enterprise integration and governance patterns
• Experience working in government or large-scale enterprise environments (preferred)
