The Role

We're looking for a Platform Engineer who brings together strong agile product development skills with a passion for infrastructure as code and modern deployment practices. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with agile product teams, helping them ship faster and more reliably by embedding best-in-class delivery practices into the development lifecycle—making them the default, not the exception. Our product engineering teams are responsible for building and running our growth platform for FinTech success stories. They follow the “you build it, you run it” principle - but that doesn’t mean they’re on their own!

At Multitude, the Platform Engineering team empowers our product engineers to deliver quickly and safely. We believe that happy developers are productive developers, so we treat our internal platform as a product—shifting the undifferentiated heavy lifting away from teams. This reduces cognitive load and ensures that security and architectural best practices are consistently applied across the board.

Your Mission

As a member of our team, you’ll collaborate with product engineering teams that practice eXtreme Programming, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and trunk-based development. With a strong focus on Developer Experience, you’ll leverage your expertise in cloud and deployment engineering to create reusable “golden paths” that make best practices the most natural and efficient choice for developers.

Requirements

• Secure Infrastructure, Cloud Security Frameworks (Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, CIS Benchmarks, AWS Well-Architected, GCP Security Foundations), Secure CI/CD Pipelines, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) Best Practices.
• 3+ years of experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management (Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, …)
• Cloud engineering and architecture - particularly Azure, but familiarity with AWS would also come in handy
• CI/CD and deployment engineering, infrastructure as code, immutable infrastructure, zero-downtime deployments and progressive deployments
• Building platform components using languages like Go and Python to deliver a best-in-class developer experience
• Experience working with microservices architecture, REST APIs & API Gateways principles and patterns
• Proven track record of delivering complex, secure, and scalable Platform solutions in fast-paced settings.
• Background in Software Development, DevSecOps, Site Reliability, and/or Systems Engineering
• Deep understanding and hands on mastery of software development best practices such as Agile-based development, TDD, TBD, coding guidelines, code reviews, pairing and mobbing sessions etc.

The starting salary is 3,300 EUR gross monthly but will be higher if you are a senior candidate.
