As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of project planning and execution. Your primary duties will include monitoring project progress, controlling costs, managing risks, and ensuring effective collaboration among all stakeholders. You will also be tasked with generating detailed reports on project status and presenting updates to management and clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management tools, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring Progress
Track project progress against the schedule.
Identify and address delays or bottlenecks.
Cost Control
Prepare cost estimates and budgets.
Monitor expenses to ensure the project stays within budget.
Risk Management
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaboration
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure effective communication across all teams.
Reporting
Generate reports on project status, progress, and challenges.
Present updates to management and client
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer
Strong knowledge in Passive Network
Strong knowledge in ELV & Light Current
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of engineering principles and construction processes.
