About the Role - Performance Testing with Jmeter and Java

Responsibilities -

• Script Recording & Modification
• Record and Develop JMeter test scripts for various user scenarios using Thread Groups, Samplers, and Listeners, to simulate real-world user interactions with the system.
• Use regular expressions to handle dynamic content, such as session IDs, tokens, and other variables, in test scripts.
• Parameterize inputs to ensure scripts can be reused across multiple test scenarios and environments.
• Write custom logic to simulate a range of user behaviors and ensure test accuracy.
• Leverage Pre-Processors and Post-Processors for test preparation, setup, and execution and data handling
• Load & Performance Testing
• Design and execute performance Tests using JMeter to simulate multiple users over a 1-hour duration.
• Optimize test scripts to ensure they are scalable and capable of simulating large numbers of users.
• Distributed Load Testing Configuration and Parallel controllers
• Configure and set up JMeter for distributed testing, simulating multiple users from different machines to test the system at scale.

Qualifications - B.E Comp, IT or any computer related degree

Required Skills

• Experience-4 to 8yrs
• Work Mode- 5 days Work from office
• Key Skills:
• Basic Java Knowledge & Software Testing
• Familiarity with the Java & Groovy programming language and the ability to execute simple Java programs.
• Experience in performance testing of web applications, APIs, or microservices
• Experience in Performance Testing Tools Such as Loadrunner, JMeter, Blaze Meter

Preferred Skills

• JMeter Expertise
• Hands-on experience with JMeter, including but not limited to:
• Developing scripts with Thread Groups, Samplers, and Listeners.
• Working with regular expressions for dynamic content handling.
• Implementing parameterization to simulate realistic, variable user inputs.
• Configuring Pre-Processors and Post-Processors for test execution optimization.
