Summary

Oracle Functional System Administrator (Hybrid)

Optomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients, is seeking an experienced Oracle Functional System Administrator to oversee the functional administration, support, and optimization of Oracle Cloud Financials (OCF). The role will be responsible for daily operational support, ticket management, system configuration, SOX compliance, and process improvements to ensure seamless financial operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with finance, IT, and audit teams to maintain a secure, efficient, and well-governed Oracle ERP environment.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Financials functional support or administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Financials (OCF) or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP configurations, workflows, and role-based security.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Ivanti or ServiceNow for managing and tracking incidents.
  • Understanding of SOX controls and compliance frameworks within financial systems.
  • Ability to support ERP integrations with third-party applications.
  • Oracle Cloud Certifications in Financials.
  • Experience with financial process automation and workflow optimization tools.
  • Knowledge of ERP integrations with banking systems, tax engines, and third-party applications.


Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

  • Provide functional support for Oracle Cloud Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Risk Management Cloud), troubleshooting system issues, configurations, and integrations.
  • Manage ticket resolution, ensuring timely responses within SLA and documenting issues in ticketing systems (e.g., Ivanti, ServiceNow).
  • Maintain system configurations, user roles, security policies, and support patching, updates, and enhancements in Oracle ERP.
  • Implement and maintain SOX-compliant controls, conduct audits and user access reviews, and support internal/external audit requirements.
  • Analyze system usage trends, recommend process optimizations, and participate in ERP enhancements and financial workflow improvements.
