As a Oracle Database Admin, you will be placed at customer location and expected to have experience in administering, monitoring and troubleshooting databases to support customer’s mission critical applications. You will need to visit the client’s offices / data center’s on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role. You will have to demonstrate expertise in Oracle application, patching, upgrades and tuning activities. You will be involved in troubleshooting Oracle incident tickets. You are expected to perform analysis on system operation issues and make remediation recommendations with little or minimum support from superiors. Responsibilities: · Day to day Database administration and Production Support. · Use problem and change management tools. · Support mission critical databases for customer, where any unscheduled downtime will result in major business loss. · Manage incidents at Customer account. · Perform Storage Space management · Database Security Administration · Maintain Configuration details · Proactive system monitoring and support · Level 2 and Level 3 Ticket resolution · Migrating Oracle ERP workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure · To manage Oracle applications environments · Work with clients on cloud benefit assessments
