Oracle DBA:

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for an Oracle DBA for a contract 1-year role on W2. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Irving, Texas office.

Oracle DBA - Job Description:

The Reference Data management team seeks an experienced application DBA to enhance their systems. This role involves providing application database support to ensure high availability and performance of databases supporting the system.

Oracle DBA - Responsibilities:

• Provide application database support for system enhancements

• Ensure availability and performance tuning of databases

• Collaborate with the team to allocate hardware resources for optimal performance

• Proactively monitor database systems to ensure secure services with minimal downtime

• Provide trend analysis for informed resource management decisions

• Escalate problems to Oracle Development team and third parties as needed

• Improve and maintain databases, including rollouts and upgrades

• Implement and release database changes as submitted by the development team

Oracle DBA - Mandatory Skills:

• 12+ Years of Industry Experience

• Oracle RDBMS experience on RHEL 7/8

• Oracle database optimization for hybrid data processing

• Leadership , Communication

• Project Ownership/Accountability

• Financial Industry Experience

Oracle DBA – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL

• Experience with CyberArk, Redhat OpenShift, Autosys, ServiceNow

• Experience with NOSQL DB

Oracle DBA – Assignment Length:

This is a 1-year contract position on W2
