Senior OPS Engineer – ACI Universal Payments (UPF)

Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Senior OPS Engineer with expertise in ACI Universal Payments Framework (UPF) to support and optimize their high-performance payment processing systems.

As part of the Payments Operations team, you will ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of mission-critical payment systems in a highly regulated financial environment. The UPF platform is an on-premise Linux-based solution, and deployments are managed through Azure DevOps pipelines with Ansible scripts.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize ACI UPF-based payment processing environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents in real-time transaction processing.
• Ensure high availability, security, and compliance of payment operations.
• Manage deployments using Azure DevOps pipelines and Ansible scripts.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams to enhance system performance.
• Automate operational tasks and improve monitoring capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, PSD2, and other financial regulations.

Your Expertise:

• 3+ years of experience in an OPS-focused role – Must.
• Hands-on experience with ACI Universal Payments Framework (UPF) – Must.
• Strong understanding of real-time transaction processing and payment workflows.
• Experience working with Linux-based platforms.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and Ansible for deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident resolution skills.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., banking, fintech, payment processors).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based payment platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for operational efficiency.
• Relevant security or financial certifications (CISP, CISM, TOGAF, etc.).
