About Nama

Nama is a fast-growing womenswear brand based in Toronto, known for creating elevated wardrobe staples with performance-level comfort. We’re building a thoughtful, design-forward company rooted in timeless style, premium quality, and community-driven growth. After recent traction across North America—including celebrity endorsements and wellness pop-ups—we’re looking for someone to help build the operational backbone of our next stage.

About the Role

We’re hiring an Operations Manager to help run the business behind the brand. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, wears many hats, and is excited to help scale a lean fashion business into a global name.

You’ll work directly with the founder to manage inventory planning, supplier coordination, financial tracking, and overall business operations. You’ll also take ownership of financial processes—working closely with our bookkeeper and accountant to ensure accurate records, support compliance, and create visibility into key metrics.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a leadership position (COO or CFO track) as the company scales.

What You’ll Do

  • Own inventory planning and reordering strategy based on sales data and forecasts
  • Manage day-to-day operations across supply chain, 3PL, production timelines, and vendor communications
  • Track key financial metrics including cash flow, COGS, gross margin, and inventory turns
  • Maintain accurate books in partnership with our bookkeeper
  • Work with our accountant to finalize year-end financials and handle sales tax filings
  • Build and manage planning models to guide purchasing, pricing, and operational decisions
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement systems or tools to streamline business operations
  • Support product launches and new sales channels (e-comm, retail, wholesale)
  • Collaborate with the founder, creative director, and sourcing manager across departments

What We're Looking For

  • 3–6 years experience in operations, planning, finance, or business management
  • Experience working with financial systems (QuickBooks or similar), bookkeeping, and tax filings
  • Highly organized and analytical—you’re comfortable in spreadsheets and enjoy problem-solving
  • Background in fashion, CPG, or DTC e-commerce preferred
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Airtable, and inventory management tools a plus
  • Based in Toronto and available to work in person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
