Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Offset Printing Operator located in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The Offset Printing Operator will be responsible for Printer Support, Print Production, Printing, Bindery, and Inkjet tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of experience in operating offset printing presses (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori, Roland, Mitsubishi).
• Experience with sheet-fed offset presses.
• Familiarity with prepress processes and plate making.
• Ability to set up, calibrate, and operate offset printing machines.
• Knowledge of color theory, ink mixing, and color registration.
• Skills in handling paper stock, ink levels, blankets, plates, and rollers.
• Ability to adjust tension, feeding systems, and drying systems.
• Competence in troubleshooting issues like smudging, ghosting, or misregistration.
• Inspect printed materials for clarity, accuracy, and defects.
• Understand and apply quality standards (ISO, G7, FOGRA, etc.).
• Record and report production data, errors, and maintenance needs.
• Comfortable working in noisy and sometimes hot environments.
• Attention to detail for precise color matching and print quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and production schedules.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures in a printing environment.
