Position Title: OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Engineer

Experience: - 5years to 10 years

Location: Work From Home Any location candidate will be considered.

Overview

We are seeking a talented OCI engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of OCI for our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, automation, and Unix administration, coupled with a deep understanding of OCI services.

Responsibilities

•      Complete OCI Administration on strong understanding of Tenancy, VCN, Compartments, Network Layers, handling firewalls, subnet, polices, storage options, Object storage, DataFlow
•      Handson experience on OCI Data integration service
•      Working experience on Snowflake- Desirable
•      Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency
•      Troubleshoot and resolve across various OCI services.
•      Data warehousing concepts knowledge
•      Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
•      Experience in python, pyspark
  
  

Qualifications

•      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•      Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on OCI, PL/SQL and Unix administration.
•      Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation and task execution.
•      Expertise in OCI cloud and Data Integration service
•      Expertise to migrate data from Snowflake to OCI data integration
•      Understanding of security practices, policy management.
•      Ability to quickly triage and deploy on-demand solutions in a dynamic environment.
•      Familiarity with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda functions is preferred.
•      Secondary skills / knowledge (desirable)
  
  

o     Experience building cloud services for external and internal customers.

o     Experience using open-source technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

o      Knowledge of Git and common IDEs such Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ

o     Unix Shell Scripting and Job Schedulers
