Summary

Title: Senior Linux Engineer

Key Manage and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux environments to ensure high availability, performance, and redundancy.

  • Leverage Ansible for configuration management, automation, and streamlining system processes.
  • Work with Red Hat OpenShift for container orchestration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform regular system patching and maintenance to ensure all systems are up-to-date and secure.
  • Expertly handle LUN mapping for storage systems to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Configure and manage NFS provisioning to ensure smooth data accessibility and server reliability.
  • Implement robust security measures and optimize system performance to maintain a high level of

reliability and efficiency.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Infrastructure, and Customer Support to

resolve complex issues and provide technical guidance.

  • Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify potential issues and improve overall system health and Skills Required:
  • In-depth knowledge of Red Hat Linux, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, patching, and

performance optimization.

  • Proficient in using Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Experience with OpenShift for container orchestration and management of Kubernetes-based

applications.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in system patching, along with expertise in LUN mapping and NFS provisioning.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and Solid experience with Linux server hardening and ensuring systems are protected from unauthorized access.
  • Experience in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Bachelors or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent Linux certification.
  • 5+ years in Linux administration with a strong focus on Red Hat-based environments.
  • Experience with storage systems, including LUN mapping and managing NFS shares.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, and V
