You'll be providing patch management, monitoring, troubleshooting, systems administration, and end user support, working in the frontlines to ensure that we’re providing high quality service. Strong focus on maintenance of equipment such as overnight patching and firmware updates. Responsibilitires: Occasional Support of end user desktop computer issues – customer facing / high level comms still needed Troubleshooting of PC's, and networking equipment Examples of basic MS Server troubleshooting as a result of monitoring alerts: *Administration and troubleshooting of system backups *Maintaining software and patch installations *Executing firmware updates *Fixing Antivirus issues *Deploying and Utilizing RMM (monitoring) tool Responding to alerts from monitoring systems Maintaining accurate documentation Qualifications: Solid troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Must be able to figure things out and work off-script when necessary. (Not everything has a standard process or checklist). A strong focus on customer service Experience using one or more RMM tools (Datto/Autotask, Connectwise/Labtech, Solarwinds/N-Able, etc) Basic troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Server Good understanding of general networking concepts and basic experience troubleshooting network devices.
