Job Title: DGM NOC Operator (Video Monitoring and Integration)

Job Type: Contractor / Full-Time

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Telecommunications Network Operations:

• Strong understanding of Video Monitoring and Access Control Systems
• Plan and implement network changes adhering to Change Management policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, identifying root causes
• Coordinate and communicate all planned outages
• Monitor system performance: capacity, availability, and response times
• Provide primary technical support for at least one major system (e.g., microwave, two-way radio, wireless LAN) and secondary support for multiple smaller systems
• Create and maintain detailed system documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety practices to minimize incidents
• Respond to FAA tower lighting notifications as needed
• Serve as a central coordination point for system operations, maintenance, and repair
• Monitor NERC/CIP critical sites via alarm software or video surveillance and escalate appropriately
• Participate in training and mentoring of new team members
• Stay current on emerging telecommunications technologies and regulatory changes

Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma required; advanced degree preferred

Experience:

• 5+ years as a NOC Operator with experience in Video Monitoring Systems (VMS) or Access Control
• Equivalent experience in technical support or telecommunications may be considered

Skills:

• General knowledge of Telecommunications Network Design, Architecture, Equipment Technologies, and IT standards
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced NOC environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team

Performance Metrics

• Timely response to CIP-related access alarms
• Accurate and prompt notification of field personnel when onsite intervention is needed
• Effective remote troubleshooting and resolution of AMS and SCADA outages
• Proactive analysis to identify and resolve issues before they impact services
