Responsibilities

Design and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable network architectures.
Configure and install network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Implement network protocols, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP,MPLS).
Having strong grip on switching protocols ( e.g, STP, RSTP, VTP, Etherchannel, Vlans).
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS).
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and address them proactively.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network infrastructure for maximum performance and uptime.
Implement monitoring tools and methodologies to ensure network health and identify potential problems before they occur.
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades of network equipment and software.
Plan and execute network expansion or upgrades to accommodate business growth.
Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and processes.
Strong knowledge about different operating system (e.g, Windows,Linux ,Mac).
Should be good in virtualization technologies (e.g Vmware Esxi, Virtualbox, Vmware Workstation, Hyper-V).
Knowledge of windows and linux server Will be a plus point
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various IT initiatives and projects.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve network-related issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with network equipment and tools (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Understanding of network security principles and practices.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP,Mcse, or equivalent are advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
