Summary

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable network architectures.
  • Configure and install network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Implement network protocols, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP,MPLS).
  • Having strong grip on switching protocols ( e.g, STP, RSTP, VTP, Etherchannel, Vlans).
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and address them proactively.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network infrastructure for maximum performance and uptime.
  • Implement monitoring tools and methodologies to ensure network health and identify potential problems before they occur.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades of network equipment and software.
  • Plan and execute network expansion or upgrades to accommodate business growth.
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and processes.
  • Strong knowledge about different operating system (e.g, Windows,Linux ,Mac).
  • Should be good in virtualization technologies (e.g Vmware Esxi, Virtualbox, Vmware Workstation, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of windows and linux server Will be a plus point
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various IT initiatives and projects.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve network-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment and tools (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Understanding of network security principles and practices.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP,Mcse, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
