Job: Network Engineer

Location: Ocoee, FL (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Requirements

• IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in network operations, support, maintenance, and administration (7+ years)
• Experience performing network engineering (hardware and/or software), design, planning and implementation. (3+ years)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds when necessary.
• Travel to remote locations to provide support, as needed
  
  

Preferred

• Related networking certifications
• Experience with HPE/Aruba networking equipment
  
  

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following

• Possess expertise in network configuration spanning DMARC to workstations, fiber distribution, routers, switches, DHCP, and topology to ensure excellent Quality of Service (QoS).
• Plan, implement, and forecast copper and fiber network systems (including wireless) of moderate complexity, managing resource requirements effectively.
• Mentor junior staff on patch management, network management, fault identification, and data/telecom access.
• Extensive experience with enterprise switching products, including capacity and risk assessment, contingency planning, and lifecycle management.
• Active participation in team projects, meetings, and assignments.
• Must know the OSI model and how it pertains to the flow of data throughout the environment.
• Proficiently configure and manage network switch equipment, ensuring protocol compatibility, system tuning, and enhancement recommendations.
