Network Engineer – Glendale, AZ – Permanent – Onsite

You have a few years of enterprise networking experience and have quickly mastered the basics, but you crave more. You learned (and nailed) tech such as VMWare, Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto yet you crave more.

We’ve been asked to identify someone like you for a newly created position working onsite at a large manufacturing facility located in Glendale, AZ. Your mission is to join the small onsite IT team that designs, administers, supports, and engineers the network architecture that makes the facility scream. You’ll dig into the Hypervisory environment to get ahead of problems, see around corners, and ensure that their network is as world-class as their global products.

This position is not for the faint of heart, here’s why:

• You’ll work an average of 50 hours per week onsite (8 AM to 5 PM plus on-call or project based needs)
• You’ll move fast – they are a 24x7 manufacturer that sells more that what they can produce – you need a mentality that is relentless.
• You’ll need to learn more. They have big technical plans that you will help drive by researching new tech, presenting your findings to leadership, and be willing to take on more than you expected.
