Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled MSBI Developer to join our team on-site in India. This position plays a critical role in designing and implementing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models and reports.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using SSIS for data integration.
• Create and manage reports using SSRS to deliver insights to stakeholders.
• Develop data models to support data analysis and reporting requirements.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance for large datasets.
• Collaborate with business analysts to gather and understand reporting requirements.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across data sources and reports.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns in various datasets.
• Maintain documentation for all BI processes and reporting solutions.
• Work closely with the database administration team for performance tuning.
• Assist in the maintenance and optimization of MSBI solutions.
• Participate in the deployment of BI solutions to various environments.
• Provide support for end-user training sessions on BI tools and analytics.
• Implement security measures for data protection and access management.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in MSBI technologies.
• Resolve issues and troubleshoot problems related to BI applications.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in MSBI development.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL programming.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and MSBI tools.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of MSBI architecture and design principles.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Experience with performance tuning of SQL queries.
• Understanding of database security principles.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging BI solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Microsoft BI technologies (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).
