Job Roles & Responsibilities
Role:
Design, Develop & Validate ADAS functionalities through virtual simulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain simulation models for ADAS functionalities using industry-standard tools and languages (e.g., CARSIM/MATLAB/Simulink, Python etc).
Collaborate with teams to integrate simulation models into the Model-in-Loop (MIL) testing framework.
Capable of integrating plant model and controller model built using ADAMS, CarSim for MIL simulations within MATLAB/Simulink environment.
Design and execute simulation scenarios to validate ADAS algorithms and features under various driving conditions and scenarios.
Analyze simulation results and provide insights and recommendations to improve the performance and robustness of ADAS functionalities.
Develop an automated execution environment for ADAS system validation using MIL Simulation.
Work closely with validation and testing teams to ensure alignment between virtual simulations and real-world testing activities.
Stay updated on the latest developments in ADAS technology, simulation methods, and industry standards to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Competency Requirements
Technical/ Functional
:
Bachelor's/master's degree in mechanical, Automobile, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering.
Good understanding of automotive systems, ADAS architecture & functionalities, and simulation techniques.
Proficiency in CARSIM/MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or other simulation and programming languages.
Experienced in Model Based Development (MBD) and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) under MATLAB/Simulink environment.
Practical Experience in developing one of the following controls: Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keep Assist (LKA) will be added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
Prior experience in ADAS development, automotive simulation, or related field
