Role Description

We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, scalability, and performance of our cloud-native applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with containerization, orchestration, and monitoring tools, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

• Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud-based environments with a strong focus on OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Build, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure and manage Nginx and Gunicorn for application load balancing and web service optimization.
• Implement and maintain system observability through Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Jaeger.
• Automate deployment processes and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless integrations and releases.
• Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure reliable and efficient deployment processes.
• Monitor application performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to continuously improve system resilience.
• Document systems, processes, and best practices to share knowledge across the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Nginx, and Gunicorn.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Jaeger.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and operations.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and cloud security practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.
