MicroStrategy Developer – Stamford, CT (Hybrid Onsite)

The Select Group's client seeking a MicroStrategy Developer to support a growing team with the development and optimization of BI solutions. This person will be supporting data platform initiatives, with a focus on Redshift, SQL, and OLAP development. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to work cross-functionally are key.

Must Have Skills

• Redshift data platform expertise
• MicroStrategy development experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Unit testing and documentation (test cases)
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Relational database funneling experience
• Experience with fact and dimension data modeling (Star schema/StarSQL)
  
  

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience in cable/telecom industries
• Familiarity with outage management, network topology, or hybrid fiber coax networks
  
  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and fine-tune IT solutions (coding, testing, debugging, designing, implementing tools)
• Research and plan solutions for existing business problems
• Build online analytical processing (OLAP) solutions and manage relational/multidimensional databases
• Provide leadership within IT or cross-functional teams
• Analyze and present data in accessible ways; create tables, reports, and explain findings in clear terms
