The Microsoft Solutions Developer/Architect role works across several areas, predominately focused on developing and maintaining a major Government Department’s on premises infrastructure and applications. You will have a strong background in several technologies and can demonstrate an aptitude to develop hybrid cloud infrastructure-based skills into the future.

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software systems and applications
• Apply knowledge of technologies, methodologies, processes, and tools to support clients and projects
• Serve as technical expert on development projects
• Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
• Develop and configure software systems either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle
• Support large-scale proprietary software for internal use
• Ensure high quality and timely resolution of customer issues

• Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune & Config Manager) inclusive of Co-Management, Windows Autopilot
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Windows 365
• Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, macOS Endpoints
• Application Packaging & Publishing
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint & OneDrive)
• Active Directory & Entra ID
• Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity & Office 365)
• FSLogix User Profile Containers
• Infrastructure as Code / Automation / Scripting (ARM / PowerShell)
• Previously worked in a Defence role.

The role will suit an individual who has a strong infrastructure background and has a willingness to develop core skills within the MS Azure Cloud ecosystem
