Job Summary

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Technical Consultant with 7 - 10 years of hands-on experience in MS D365 and AX, with a strong technical foundation in X++ and MorphX. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, deliver quality customizations, and provide ongoing support for ERP implementations. This role demands excellent coding skills, team collaboration, and the ability to manage project tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365.
• Customize and extend Dynamics AX using MorphX and X++.
• Review functional design and convert into technical designs (TDD) aligned with standards.
• Develop high-quality TDD documents using defined templates and guidelines.
• Provide task estimates to the Project Lead for effective scheduling.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in delivering successful Dynamics AX projects.
• Deliver technical support during ERP implementations and post-live phases.
• Create and maintain detailed technical specification documentation.
• Collaborate with functional consultants for technical clarifications and design validation.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom code into live production environments.
• Design and develop integrations/interfaces to and from Dynamics AX/D365.
• Stay updated on Dynamics AX/D365 and related technology trends.
• Actively participate in client meetings, requirement discussions, and solution planning.
• Understand and communicate client needs, project goals, and delivery objectives.
• Translate functional specs into deployment-ready solutions with test plans and scripts.
• Estimate project efforts and manage timelines and risk resolution.
• Facilitate technical workshops and contribute to client decision-making.

Preferred Skills

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (MS D365).
• Proficiency in X++, MorphX, and related Dynamics AX development environments.
• Strong technical skills in coding, debugging, and impact analysis.
• Solid understanding of AX 2012 and its latest versions is an added advantage.
• Excellent business communication and client interaction skills.
• Strong time management, task prioritization, and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate in team environments and contribute to shared technical knowledge.
