Position Overview
The Mechanical Solutions Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team by providing technical expertise and solutions to customers. This position involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring that our products meet their expectations, and providing exceptional customer support throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support internal teams and customers in selecting the best standard products for specific applications
- Provide technical guidance to customers, distributors, and sales reps, resolving issues and answering inquiries
- Assist with quotes, proposals, and managing prototype requests
- Design and layout mechanical pumping and cooling systems
- Select and qualify system components and maintain approved part lists
- Develop CAD-supported mechanical design packages, including sheet metal parts
- Create and execute test plans, procedures, and engineering reports
- Improve technical content on websites, marketing materials, and trade show collateral
- Participate in industry events and provide hands-on support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering
- 3+ years in a technical engineering role, including direct customer interaction
- Experience with thermal systems, HVAC, or pumping systems is a plus
