Our client, a Global Leader in Power & Energy is looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their team:

Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive technical support to customers
• Ensuring that any operational issues related to gas turbines, steam turbines, or associated auxiliary systems are addressed efficiently
• Planning and coordinating of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, working closely with internal teams, customers, vendors, and field service engineers to ensure smooth execution and minimal disruption
• Analyzing and tracking plant performance data, particularly in relation to Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability metrics
• Preparing reports that support billing, performance guarantees, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participating in root cause investigations of forced outages or equipment failures, collecting and analyzing operational data, and working with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and long-term countermeasures.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with a focus on timely communication of technical updates, proactive engagement based on monitoring insights, and supporting the adoption of recommended technical improvements.
• Preparing clear and concise technical documentation, such as procedures, specifications, reports, and proposals.
• Travelling to sites in Singapore and Malaysia for project meetings, technical discussions, and urgent support during critical plant events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in an Engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in working with turbines or rotating equipment in a Power Generation or Oil & Gas setup
• Able to travel so sites both locally (Jurong Island and other power plants) and regionally, primarily in Malaysia
• Customer Service experience, especially in an Engineering company in Power Generation industry
• Ability to work closely with Field Engineers and Technicians will be a bonus
