Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage various mechanical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Mechanical Project Manager will coordinate with different teams, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and construction, to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with HVAC, piping, plumbing, and construction teams to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress against them.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project status and troubleshoot any issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns as needed.
- Prepare and present project documentation, including reports and proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the mechanical engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Professional certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
