We are looking for an Mechanical Lead for a data center construction project in Vihti, Finland. This is a long-term employment opportunity with a project expected to last several years.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers
• Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction program, and to enhance specification and quality completion
• Display commercial astuteness
• Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
• Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
• Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
• Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
• Oversee highest quality of health and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
• Experience in leading Electrical Engineer’s teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
