Mechanical Engineer -Systems Design / Modeling

Our client is actively seeking to add a Mechanical Engineer with a deep interest in challenging projects, opportunities for career advancement, and a great place to work. The primary function of this role involves the design & 3D modeling of systems and processes for industrial focused engineering projects (energy, natural gas, water, wastewater, solid waste, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Participate from design through successful construction in the design, development, implementation, and analysis of complex systems, processes, and equipment using 3D modeling and analysis tools
• Work is both independent and collaborative
• Proficient in various software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, SolidWorks, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and other mechanical design tools
  
  

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineer with three (3) or more years’ of relevant experience
• Knowledge and experience in the design, development, and analysis, of industrial systems and/or processes
• Industrial project experience within sites/facilities such as water & wastewater, energy, natural gas, mining/mineral/solid waste management and processing
• Knowledge and experience within industrial plant systems
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Software experience: AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, SolidWorks, FEA (Finite Element Analysis
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
• EIT or P.E. Certification a plus
• This position requires either US citizenship or Green Card holder for consideration
