What will you be doing?

As a Mechanical Engineer at Chemploy, you'll play a key role in the development of innovative and sustainable engineering projects — from concept to realization.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing or verifying designs in the form of PFDs, P&IDs, plant layouts, and 3D impressions.
• Selecting equipment such as pumps, valves, and vessels;
• Preparing budgets and review quotations from suppliers but also play a key role in the quotations that our business development team set up (we don’t overpromise)

No two projects are the same. You’ll work both at the office, the home office or directly on-site with clients where your ideas can take shape in the real world. From day one, you'll have the opportunity to steer your own development path. You’ll be no longer managed but coached and mentored and coach and mentor others.

Who are we looking for?

Above all, you’re someone who wants to contribute to a better world — and who thrives in a team of skilled, outspoken, and grounded professionals.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Energy Technology;
• Has experience with AutoCAD and Visio;
• Has some experience as a mechanical engineer in the process industry or with equipment manufacturers (preferred, but not mandatory).

You also:

• See knowledge as a tool, not a goal in itself;
• Are fluent in English (you perhaps noticed a few quirks in this text 😉);
• Ideally speak Dutch, or are willing to take our Dutch language course;
• Have great listening skills, a keen eye for detail, and a structured, quality-focused approach to your work.
