Position Overview:

We are looking for Mechanical Engineers with a strong analytical mindset and a focus on optimizing mechanical systems in industrial environments. This role is less hands-on and more focused on technical analysis, system improvement, and project-based solutions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve machine performance, prevent downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze mechanical systems and identify performance bottlenecks;
• Develop solutions to improve reliability and efficiency of production equipment;
• Support the implementation of technical upgrades and modifications;
• Collaborate with design, automation, and maintenance teams on technical projects;
• Prepare documentation, reports, and technical recommendations;
• Ensure that all engineering solutions comply with relevant safety and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline;
• Speak, read and write Afrikaans;
• Experience in a production or industrial engineering environment;
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and system analysis;
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and collaborate on multidisciplinary projects;
• Good communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
