Assist Process/Mechanical Engineers to prepare proposals for, plan, safely implement and control capital projects of limited size or delegated sections of larger capital projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Process/Mechanical Engineers in design, installation, commissioning and technical support on engineering projects, or existing operations to deliver installations on time and to budget
Support Process/Mechanical engineers on the preparation of engineering drawings and designs.
Assist Process/Mechanical Engineers in the preparation of feasibility studies, designs and budget estimates for capital schemes
Ensure full documentation of all projects and systems.
Equipment and process designs developed to achieve desired operational performance at minimum [overall life cycle] cost
Qualification Requirements
Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or similar discipline
High degree of computer literacy
Ability to produce working models using AutoCAD and Inventor
Well English Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing
Adapt to frequent business trips
