Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

  • Inspection and measurement of vehicle components made of composite materials, as well as associated individual parts, laminating molds, and fixtures using 3D measuring arms, 3D laser scanners, and handheld measurement tools
  • Control and identification of non-conforming parts
  • Preparation, documentation, and creation of inspection reports
  • Recording of error reports in the quality management system
  • Cross-departmental collaboration for the efficient development and implementation of solutions
  • Point of contact and support for various departments in measurement and technical drawing-related issues

Your profile

  • Successfully completed mechanical apprenticeship with additional training in the field of quality assurance AUKOM Level 1 & 2 desirable
  • Experience with 3D measuring arms and Polyworks software
  • Experience in using common handheld measuring instruments
  • Good knowledge in reading technical drawings – ISO GPS 8015
  • Structured, precise, and independent working style
  • High resilience and flexibility, as well as willingness to work in a 2-shift system
  • Fluent in German or English, with the willingness to learn basic knowledge of the other language
