primary functions:
The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support marketing strategies and decision-making. This role involves working closely with the Marketing Director to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), collect data from various sources, and provide actionable insights that help drive growth. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful information that supports business objectives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
responsibilities:
* Responsible for the development and execution of an ongoing data analysis strategy that supports our goal of educating, informing, and guiding consumers through the different stages of their buying journey (awareness, consideration, and purchase).
* Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator on the reporting processes that provide insights on marketing campaign performance and ROI.
* Oversee market research studies to understand consumer behavior, garner insights, and create actionable plans for necessary adjustments and advancements.
* Works closely with the Content Manager for paid digital ad reporting and ROI.
* Monitor, measure, analyze, and report on activity / frequency / metrics around website traffic and user engagement, demonstrating ROI and media value tied to business goals.
* Be an expert in our consumer data and help to identify and fill data gaps using internal resources and data points.
* Create, monitor, and manage marketing dashboards, spending time with marketing stakeholders to ensuring these reports meet the teams' evolving data needs.
* Duties include SEO / SEM, ADA compliance, UX testing, behavior and journey mapping, personalization analysis/suggestions, and other general marketing support of future digital efforts.
* Remain abreast of online trends, changes, and best practices and modify future approach based on information and emerging technology.
* Serve as a resource for all credit union staff regarding marketing initiatives, promotions, and results.
* Foster knowledge sharing and consult with different department leaders across the organization.
* Comply with all Federal regulations, Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.
* Perform job duties in accordance with the Credit Union's values, mission and vision.

minimum requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, statistics, business, or other comparative industry or commensurate work experience.
* 2+ years of marketing analytics, marketing operations, and / or digital marketing experience
* Individual who is motivated, reliable, self-starter
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Exceptional ability to multi-task with demonstrated track record of managing concurrent initiatives at various phases of delivery
* Possess the ability to track, measure, detect patterns, and report on results of various marketing functions and strategies to draw out actionable insights and determine ROI
* Advanced in data segmentation and reporting within a CRM / Marketing Automation system (HubSpot highly preferred)
* Fluent in all digital marketing tools available (HubSpot, Google Analytics, Data Studio, Tag Manager, SEMrush, accessiBe, etc.)
* Advanced in Microsoft Excel as well as data visualization tools (PowerBI preferred)
* Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Proficient Mac, CRM / CMS (HubSpot), and Microsoft Office Suite skills
* Bonus skills: HTML / CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot Certifications, Google Certifications
