💼 Job Description:

Hourly Rate: $45-48/hr (Based on Experience)

Duration: 12-month Assignment (Possibility to Extend or Convert)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Onsite)

🔍 Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Events Manager to join our Diabetes Care team. This exciting role is for an individual with 6-10 years of experience in planning impactful events such as scientific congresses, speaker programs, advisory boards, and educational symposia. You’ll be instrumental in strengthening our connections with the healthcare professional (HCP) community while amplifying the impact of our diabetes care solutions.

📝 Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of high-profile events for healthcare professionals, including national and regional congresses, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagements, advisory boards, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance) to ensure all events align with business objectives and comply with industry regulations.
  • Logistics & Coordination: Manage end-to-end logistics: from selecting venues, organizing the agenda, and coordinating speakers, to overseeing registration, travel, and on-site event execution.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all events comply with industry regulations, including AdvaMed, PhRMA, and local/international policies governing interactions with HCPs.
  • Content Development & Engagement: Collaborate with teams to create compelling content and engaging event experiences that educate, raise awareness, and promote advocacy for diabetes care solutions.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and track event budgets to ensure high-quality, cost-effective event delivery.
  • Performance Tracking & ROI Analysis: Track and analyze event outcomes to optimize future planning, demonstrate ROI, and measure the effectiveness of each event.

🎯 Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, Business, or a related field (required).
  • Experience: 6-10 years of event management experience, ideally within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors (required).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (required). Experience with Cvent event management software is highly preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
