Our major Medical Device/Healthcare client is seeking a
Marketing Communications Manager to join their team for a 12 month freelance role, offering 40 hours/week. This role is onsite in Alameda, CA.
Position Overview
The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans that enhance the company's brand and engage target audiences. This role involves overseeing marketing initiatives, managing communication channels, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication strategies to promote the company's brand and products.
- Create engaging content for various channels including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
- Manage and execute public relations activities to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and insights that inform communication strategies.
- Plan and coordinate events and campaigns to promote products and services.
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging across all platforms.
- Oversee the design and production of marketing materials ensuring high quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing communications or a similar role.
- Strong skills in communications, branding, and content creation.
- Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing techniques.
- Experience with public relations and media outreach.
- Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and email marketing best practices.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to measure campaign success.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
