Job Purpose:

The Sustainability Manager – OHS&E is primarily responsible for leading the company's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) initiatives while supporting environmental sustainability efforts.

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with national and international regulations, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, and achieving the company’s long-term sustainability goals. The Sustainability Manager – OHS&E is expected to drive performance through regular monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of best practices to achieve the company's long-term sustainability goals.

Main Responsibilities:

Occupational Health and Safety Management

• Keep up-to-date applicable occupational health and safety laws, regulations and standards to ensure company’s and its suppliers’ compliances and continual improvement against those laws, regulations and standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive OHS policies, programs, and management system, in collaboration with different departments, domestic and regional to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and ensure adherence to relevant OHS&E regulations and best practices.
• Assist relevant functions to implement applicable occupational health and safety practices in operations to reduce and prevent recurrence of near-missed incidents and accidents.
• Design content and delivery program for OHS training across the organization.
• Drive a strong safety culture within the organization by raising awareness and fostering engagement across Minor Group.
• Engage in the set up and continuum of OHS committees as applicable.

Educate, assess, audit and improve suppliers’ performance on Occupational Health and Safety

• Work in collaboration with other members of Corporate Sustainability team and other related functions to ensure Sustainable Supply Chain practices – which includes reviewing frameworks, policies and procedures, and conducting ESG screening/ assessments and audit.
• Arrange workshops on occupational health and safety for targeted suppliers.
• Review/ develop and maintain suppliers’ occupational health and safety screenings and assessments.
• On-site/remotely audit targeted suppliers on occupational health and safety with issued improvement plans where needed.
• Regularly follow up and cooperate with targeted suppliers to continually improve their occupational health and safety non-conformities

Data Management & Reporting

• Develop and maintain systematic database and on-time reporting system to capture needed Occupational Health and Safety indicators for risk assessment / gap analysis and reporting.
• Analyze OHS and environmental performance data to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Prepare regular reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to sustainability disclosures and reporting requirements, including relevant sections of national and international questionnaires

• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
• Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate to all levels.
• Ability to foster trust relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
• Self-motivated and self-leaner, adaptable and able to work in high-demand situations
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environment, or related fields. Master’s degree in related fields is a plus.
• Hold a license of Occupational Health and Safety Professional at Expert Level (ระดับเชี่ยวชาญ) from the Council of Science and Technology Professionals, Thailand is preferable

Experience:

• Minimum 7-year progressive experiences in occupational health and safety implementation, e.g. Professional-level safety officer (เจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน ระดับวิชาชีพ) and/or audit, with environmental management experience preferred
