The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, is looking for a dynamic and high caliber professional to join our Exhibition Services Department.

Responsibilities:

• To create innovative design solution that added value to events and other promotional activities
• To co-ordinate different work parties to ensure project on time on budget
• To mentor to junior designers and provide guidance throughout the design process and on-site
• To liaise and maintain good relations with working partners and industry associations
• Provide construction and detail drawings from approved design concept with computer aids.
• Awareness of global design trend and exhibition material techniques including green initiative, effectively integrating them into the design process
• To observe the global design trend and make research on special finishes / materials & equipment
• To oversee budget of projects
• Coordinate with both internal and external vendors on development 2D, 3D and other media’s design solutions
  
  

Requirements:

• University graduate/Diploma holder in industrial, architectural, interior, exhibition design or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years working experience in trade fair/exhibition, event, fashion show or related field
• Highly proficient in Microstation 3D, 3D Max, AutoCAD, Photoshop & Illustrator
• A team player with strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation
• Good command of spoken & written English & Chinese
• Must be able to work under pressure on multiple concurrent projects & to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of latest materials, Audio Video, multimedia (Premiere, After Effect and Audition) and technology will be an advantage
• Workplace at HKTDC Exhibition Services & Logistics Centre in Tseung Kwan O
  
  

Remuneration And Benefits

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
