Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating the essential functions between Network Management, Practice Consultant Teams, and other integral MHMD stakeholders.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in business, health administration, or other healthcare-related field; Masters preferred

Licenses/Certifications: (None)

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Five (5) years of healthcare, process improvement or project management experience is required
  • Managed care industry/contracting experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and build strong relationships with providers, their staff, and organizational stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task and lead multiple projects to obtain desired results

Principal Accountabilities

  • Coordinates the seamless execution of operational processes between Network Management and Practice Consultants.
  • Develops and oversees a tracking process/mechanism(s) for bonus projects, including monitoring and reporting.
  • Responsible for CMS-focused projects, such as Medicare Shared Savings Plan
  • Initiates a global project planning implementation approach/methodology within Network Management and Operations.
  • Oversees the scheduling of the organizational phone system, monitors performance, and addresses escalated customer service issues.
  • Supervises and safeguards provider contract files.
  • Develops interdepartmental forms as needed to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
  • Develops the materials in the provider welcome and assessment packet; collaboratively works with organizational stakeholders to deploy and implement.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
